South Asian Youth Alliance (SAYA)

Started as South Asian Youth Group in the 90s the group provided an opportunity for youth of South Asian origin to come together and share their experiences and have a collective voice on issues impacting them.

Currently, the Centre provides youth opportunities and programming to preserve their cultural heritage and supporting their integration in Canadian society.

The Centre established an annual scholarship for a 12 th grade South Asian student for continuing post- secondary education as well as a Youth Award for special accomplishments of a South Asian youth in the community.
