A Hub Without Walls (HWOW) Ending Gender Based Violence in Windsor-Essex

Project Overview

As a Hub Without Walls (HWoW) partner, this project supports a survivor-centered, collaborative approach to preventing and responding to gender-based violence (GBV) across Windsor–Essex. Working alongside a network of community organizations and service providers, the initiative focuses on strengthening coordination, improving access to supports, and ensuring individuals receive timely, compassionate, and appropriate care.

Rather than navigating disconnected services, participants are supported through a more integrated system that prioritizes safety, dignity, and choice. Through community events, outreach, education, and collaborative programming, this project helps meet individuals where they are while fostering awareness, prevention, and stronger cross-sector relationships.

A community event supporting safety, awareness, and advocacy to address violence and promote safer, more inclusive communities.

Open Streets Windsor | September 21st, 2025
Participation in a city-wide initiative encouraging physical activity, community engagement, and the use of public spaces for connection and wellbeing.

Holiday Painting Classes – Women’s Support & Empowerment
Creative holiday-themed painting sessions designed to encourage women’s connection, mutual support, and wellbeing. Delivered in collaboration with community partners, these sessions provide a safe and welcoming space for expression, socialization, and empowerment.
