We’re currently seeking passionate, community-driven individuals to join our team. See the opportunities below:

1. Community Outreach & Event Coordinator

Start Date: April 21, 2025 | End Date: December 31, 2025 (Possible Extension)
Hours: Part-Time (17.5 hours/week) | Wage: $18.50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Engage South Asian communities in the Sandwich West neighbourhoods

• Plan and manage community events, meetings, and workshops

• Coordinate event logistics, volunteers, and outreach activities

• Attend partner agency events and build local relationships

• Distribute promotional materials and collect participant feedback

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Experience in community engagement and event planning

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Proficiency in MS Office; multilingual and social media skills are assets

2. Administrative Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs Position)

Start Date: April 28, 2025 | End Date: August 30, 2025
Hours: Full-Time (30 hours/week, 5 days/week) | Wage: $17.20/hour
Location: 4045-B Seminole Street, Windsor, ON N8Y 4W4

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, answer phones, and manage communications

• Maintain filing systems, databases, and office supplies

• Assist with presentations, meeting minutes, reports, and bookkeeping

• Compile data and perform general administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• High school diploma

• Currently a student returning to studies in Fall 2025

• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite

• Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills

• Knowledge of a South Asian language is an asset

• Must meet Canada Summer Jobs eligibility:

  • Age 15–30, Canadian citizen/permanent resident/refugee

  • Valid SIN and availability for the full 9-week term

3. Education & Outreach Program Coordinator (Canada Summer Jobs Position)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct need assessments and develop outreach strategies

• Attend partner events and build stakeholder relationships

• Develop and distribute multilingual infographics and promotional materials

• Facilitate health and wellness workshops

• Support ongoing programs and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education

• Currently a student returning to studies in Fall 2025

• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite

• Strong communication, writing, and problem-solving skills

• South Asian language skills are an asset

• Must meet Canada Summer Jobs eligibility (see criteria above)
