SACW Partners with CISF Connect

June 30, 2026

The South Asian Centre of Windsor is proud to be an inaugural partner of CISF CONNECT, a bespoke audience development program dedicated to supporting Canadian filmmakers and strengthening community engagement through film.

CISF CONNECT empowers filmmakers by providing funding, marketing and distribution support, and access to experienced consultants who help develop tailored audience engagement strategies for their projects. At the same time, the program equips Film Engagement Specialists with the knowledge and tools to organize community screenings that connect audiences with diverse Canadian films and documentaries.

As an inaugural partner, the South Asian Centre of Windsor is excited to help bring meaningful film experiences to our community by hosting screenings that celebrate diverse voices, encourage dialogue, and create opportunities for cultural connection.

Through this initiative, we look forward to engaging audiences in Windsor while contributing to a growing national network of Film Engagement Specialists committed to making Canadian stories more accessible to communities across the country.
