South Asian Drama Fest | June 7th, 2026

Join us for an unforgettable evening of culture, storytelling, and live theatre at the very first South Asian Drama Fest presented by the South Asian Centre of Windsor in celebration of 40 years of community, arts, and heritage.

This special event will showcase two powerful stage productions featuring talented performers and directors from Windsor and Toronto, bringing together both English and Bangla theatre for one incredible night.

The evening begins with the English production Under a New Sky, written and directed by Dr. Omar Faruk and presented by Sudhui Natok, Windsor at 6 PM. Following this, audiences will experience the Bangla production An Old Man and a Dog, written and directed by Subrata Puru and presented by Nattysongho Canada, Toronto at 7 PM.

Whether you are a theatre enthusiast or simply looking to enjoy an evening celebrating South Asian arts and culture, this festival promises meaningful performances, community connection, and a memorable experience for all ages. Refreshment vendors will also be available on site throughout the evening.
